I believe there is immense power in feeling safe and known and that both our wounds and victories impact our thought processes, relationships, emotions, and behaviors. In life transitions, relational difficulties, and personal struggles, I aim to be an agent of hope and compassion that moves clients towards greater awareness and confidence, and away from self-defeating processes of shame and feelings of unworthiness.
As a result, the health of body, mind, soul, and relationships improves.
I practice an experiential approach to therapy with couples and individuals with a constant awareness of how trauma may be a factor in current challenges. With couples, I primarily utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy, a research-validated approach to healing and strengthening couples’ relationships and emotional connection.
I am profoundly grateful when clients allow me into the sacred truths of their inner worlds, into their not-so-curated stories of joy and pain. I believe that YOU are the expert on your own journey and I would consider it an honor to be invited into your unique story and to help you move toward greater health and healing in your life and relationships.
